Well, lets put it this way... they'll probably out-last you! Mutant fries.. sucks they taste so damn good, they're probably worse than smoking cancer sticks.
Hi Im 14 years old this experiment is complete bias

Jabronie, the point is that microorganisms (incl. mold) do not even eat the fries because there are absolutely no nutrients or anything of any value to eat. Therefore, when you eat the fries you are getting absolutely no nutrition and therefore they are not good for you.

Meat was once a living creature...what if we put a dead body in a jar??? It would still decompose!!! Fries were never a living organism. Just because they don't mold and break down after a 10 week observation doesn't mean they aren't digested, stomach acid takes care of this! The only thing that is unable to be digested is indigestable fibers and insoluable fibers ie. the skin of an apple, flax seed, and so on...and these are good for your diet because they help clean out your colon. This is the most retarded thing I've ever seen!

Watched a program recently about what is in chicken nuggets -shock: crushed chicken bones, skin and all mashed up, then drenched in deep fat cooking oil (likely unchanged oil for days on end), complete with petrol fries and washed down with milk shake with 20 tablespoons of white sugar that will make your teeth decay.
This has been proven time and time again, and still people don't learn. It's not nutritious - just fat and sugar.

After doing some research on the ingredients in McDonald's fries I found there is more to the fries than just potatoes, oil and salt. TBHQ is one of the chemicals added to the fries.(according to McDonald's nutrition list) It is made from petrolium and is a form of butane. The FDA has allowed this to be used in very small amounts. Taking in 1 gram of this chemical can make you feel ill. Higher amounts can cause death. This chemical is used to prolong freshness. This information was taken from "The Omnivores Dilemma" by Michael Pollen-A Must Read!!

Dunno how they do things in the States, but here (Finland) we're pretty damn strict about the expiration dates and about stuff that's been dropped on the floor. In short, it goes to waste.
Then again, I'm actually enjoying working at McD's, and we get decent pay (9,5e plus double pay on Sundays and holidays), plus you get to work as much or as little shifts as you want. I go to school and ride horses twice a week, and I still make over a thou/month after taxes, which, granted, won't support you if you live on your own, but since I still live with my parents (I'm 19), it's more than enough for me, even after socialising and horses.
Not to mention our shift managers are the awesomest bosses ever.
As for the fries though... yikes. I should test if the Finnish McFries do the same.

Actually this experiment proves how sanitary the McDonald's fries are! The preparation and cooking process killed all bacteria on them and the salt help preserve them. With no bacteria present in a sealed container any food product will last an extended period of time. I'm actually be more concerned eating the products that developed the mold and bacteria fastest! Not that I think McDonald's food is great but it is prepared and handled in a very sanitary manner.
