tbh this advert isn't rly that funny, quite humerous but not out and out funny.
English is generally considered to be a difficult language due to some of the grammar, number of homophones, and the origin of the words, which is possibly the largest of all languages(Gaelic, Latin, Greek, French, Punjabi Scandinavia etc all having influences). Mandarin, Icelandic and other Scandinavian languages are the hardest in the world because of the difficulty of pronunciation, and in Mandarin's case each word having subtle changes in pronunciation giving completely different meanings, upto 5 for each word!
Damn who am I kidding I have to get out of this country. Any non-American's out there want a room-mate? I hang drywall for a living, it won't be hard for me to get a job. I want to switch to metric anyway.

Remember guys just because the language of the advert is your own (or is based on your own) it doesn't mean it relates to you. There's a reason why it's called English and not American.

We are all the same. I've lived in Germany for a number of years and have visited countries all over the world and its hard not to notice that everyone is pretty much the same. Cultures are a bit different, but we are all pretty much alike. Besides, The commercial is about misunderstanding english. Nowhere does it mention the U.S. In fact, one of the radio voices is british sounding.
What's funny is the poor English in the comments claiming that English is easy to understand.
