If the Olympics were like this I'd actually watch more of them.

A triathlon is an endurance sports event consisting of swimming, cycling and running over various distances. As a result, proficiency in swimming, cycling, and running alone is not sufficient to guarantee a triathlon athlete a competitive time; trained triathlon athletes have learned to race each stage in a way that preserves their energy and endurance for subsequent stages.webdesign ieftin

Early triathlons were held as off-beat training exercises for runners. The first known swim/bike/run triathlons were held at San Diego’s Mission Bay in 1974. webdesign ieftin

It's an add for a action and suspense French television channel- "If one day we had to do a sports broadcast, this is how we would do it"

That is a good idea for a paintball war. Put it on skis!

To the one who says this is not a triathlon consider this.
Skiin. (1) Shooting. (2) Spreading freedom and democracy. (3) = Triathlon.

This event is called the Amerathon.

I would also like to add this clip is hilarious

Did you actually watch the clip? I could be wrong, but I don't remember the Biathlon being quite like this.

Ummm...I'm not sure quite what to make of your presentation.

First of all, this event is actually called "The Biathlon" (two events, shooting and skiing, not three, as the word "triathlon" in your title implies).

Second, it IS in the Olympics, each and every Olympics....perhaps you missed it because you don't watch the Winter Olympics?

It's actually a remarkable sport--imagine trying to aim that rifle when you are panting your lungs out...take a moment and review the clip..watch how the athlete does it. Remarkable.
